Our Best Moments of 2017

2017 was a great year for Ingenio technologies. We grew our turnover by 25%, employed 5 new members of staff, increased the sizes of our offices, introduced a new service, and have supported many charities and good causes.
We’ve picked out our favourite moments of this incredibly fast year. Enjoy!

Staff Events

Each year we have 4 staff events – paid for by the company. At the start of the year we went bowling.

Then we had a BBQ at our MD James’s House.

Next, we went to Tulleys Farm for Shocktober Fest. You can read more about this one in more detail here.

Lastly, we attended our Annual Christmas Party!

Oh, and we also had our annual Christmas Lunch too!

Charities and Good Causes

We’ve sponsored the Peacehaven & Telscombe Youth Football Club. (This was when we were trading as Computer-eyez)

Our staff members raised over £200 for the Newhaven Royal National Lifeboat Institution.

For Poppy day, we told our clients that we would donate £1.00 for every reaction they give us on a ticket. (After each problem is resolved the client receives a smiley face survey in which they can rate how well their experience was). Our lovely clients raised £100 for the Poppy Appeal!

We Supported the Newhaven Youth Awards.

We’ve expanded our Offices

We now have a staff break out room, board room, and dedicated studio.

We’ve Rebranded!

At the end of 2017, we decided to rebrand and changed our trading name to Ingenio Technologies.

This included painting our walls purple:

We also acquired some promotional material!

The name Ingenio Technologies suits us far better than Computer-eyez. Along with other similar companies, we have and continue to evolve our offer to meet the increasing complexity and range of customer needs.

“We don’t just support computers like our old name suggested. We service every piece of technology a business uses including telecoms; printers; the Cloud; patching; credit card machines; door entry systems, or CCTV etc, it’s fair to say that we are no longer just a computer company. We have evolved into a technology service provider.”

  • James Batchelor, Managing Director

“We believed the name Computer-eyez was misleading as we offer so much more than computer services which is the main reason we decided it was time for a change.

  • Simon Smyth

Other achievements of 2017:

  • We’ve achieved a 98% client retention rate for the last 5 years and counting.
  • We’ve achieved an overall 97.5% positive customer satisfaction score.
  • We’ve created a helpful and positive culture in the office.

Overall, 2017 has been a fantastic year for Ingenio Technologies. We look forward to the future and can’t wait to make 2018 even better.

Happy New Year Everyone!
