Christmas is just around the corner. It’s an exciting time – spending time with loved ones, going out and about and enjoying the festive activities, and of course, buying thoughtful gifts.
For some families, this is a really challenging time of year. Not everyone is able to buy enough food and supplies, let alone Christmas gifts or the festive activities many of us can take for granted.
It makes you realise how lucky some of us are.
With that in mind, we at Ingenio want to support our local community in any way that we can, particularly during the holiday season. At the Sussex Innovation Centre, where our office is based, we have had the opportunity to provide a lifeline for these families in need of extra support.
We came together as a team and have donated food and other supplies to the Old Boat Corner Community Pantry. They are a service available every day for the local Hollingbury and Patcham communities, catering to families that need food and basic toiletries.
Here you can see what our team donated. Sometimes even a small gesture can mean all the difference in the world to someone who is struggling.
