As an employee of two and a half years with Ingenio technologies, I’ve had a chance to really get to know the business and staff. I’ve had many interesting experiences and thought I would share them with you! Here’s a look at the inside of Ingenio, from my perspective.

It’s a close-knit team at Ingenio. From the moment I started everyone was very welcoming and friendly to me. It took me a while to get to know everyone, but when I did, I felt part of the group. Everyone is very respectful (Apart from you Jess….lol jks!) and helpful when you need something.
The Social Aspect
On the last Friday of each month, the team gets together for our monthly team lunch, which the business pays for. We usually get pizza and catch up on what’s going on. Furthermore, each quarter, Ingenio treats us to a fun day out, whether this be bowling, parties, Fright Night etc. We often go for nights out around Brighton too which is always fun.
Throughout my journey with Ingenio, I have gone to many seminars and training days, often in London and Brighton. I have learned a great deal from these days, and have put them to good use in the company. It’s also great to network and meet other professionals on these days – plus the food’s really good! Below is a picture of the Brighton Summit, where I was invited to be a guest blogger for the event in 2016 and 2017.
As the marketer of Ingenio Technologies, I have participated in a lot of meetings. We run a “Level 10 Meeting” process that allows us to make the most out of the time we have in a meeting. It gives the meeting structure and means we actually get things done rather than go off on tangents. Meetings are professional, but also have a relaxed vibe to them.
Giving back to the Community
It’s always good to give back to the community. We are regular contributors to the Newhaven RNLI and Peacehaven and Telscombe Youth Football Club. We have a drinks fridge in the kitchen which Ingenio supplies soft drinks for the team. When we get one, we donate 50p into the RNLI pot which we give to them every quarter. Below is a picture of me visiting the RNLI to drop of 3 months worth of donations.
