How to pause and resume recording whilst in a live phone call

In today’s blog post, we will be explaining how to pause and resume recording whilst in a live phone call. I promise it will be really easy too.

We’re going to be doing this by using horizon, a hosted telephony software.
What’s a hosted telephony software you ask? Ah, well it’s this neat little tool that sits in the cloud and works through your VoIP telephones, rather than at your physical premises.

Horizon involves an App or Control panel in which you make phone calls through your data connection. Calls are made and received through your internet connection, and you can have a lot of control on what happens with them, which can be very useful in business situations. Some of our clients use Horizon, and we use and love it to. So here’s a very short and simple tutorial on how to pause and resume recording whilst in a live phone call.

Okay so here’s how you do it.

The command is *3 to pause and *7 to resume.
Easy right?

So to clarify, press the star key first and then the 3 key to pause. To resume press the star key first and then the 7 key.
If you haven’t got recording set up yet contact us and we will sort it out for you in no time at all.
